The Crayhay Mansion was built in 1864 and occupied by the Crayhay family from 1906 to 1934. It is said to be haunted by many ghosts, including that of a yellow and white cat. Human specters include Max Crayhay, who committed suicide in the barn, and a neighbor girl named Rose who fell from an upstairs window when trying to secretly elope with her unborn child’s father. There is also a young boy who died in some sort of accident, and an elderly woman who was murdered during a robbery. The third floor is said to be the most active.
