The Red Mill Museum Village in Clinton has announced the theme for this year’s Haunted Red Mill: EVIL RISING. The Haunted Red Mill is not only one of New Jersey’s top-rated Halloween scare attractions and a thirty-four year annual local tradition, it’s also the museum’s top fundraiser.
Visitors get lost in mazes, flee through trails and take the most agonizingly slow hayride along the river before wandering through the vortex into allegedly the most haunted building in Clinton, with over 200 years of haunted history,
The event runs for four full weekends this year! EVIL RISING will be presented on Fridays October 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th as well as Saturdays October 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th with doors opening at approximately 7:15pm.
| Hours of Operation | Gate opens once conditions are fully dark, approximately 7pm. Ticket sales close at 10pm, the event closes when the last patron goes through. |

Ever wonder how a team of volunteers transforms our historic property into a ghoulish world overrun by zombies and killer clowns? Then these tours are for you! These lights-on guided tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at how the Haunted Red Mill has been delighting and striking fear into guests for over thirty years.
Offered Thursday evenings October 9th, 16th and 23rd. Box office opens at 6:30 pm, event begins at 7pm. The last tour begins at 8:30 pm.

Expect a long wait, but know it's totally worth it! Visiting Red Mill has become a yearly Halloween tradition in our home. We drive from 40 minutes away and somehow it just keeps getting better! The price is more than reasonable and supports the museum as the haunt is made possible by many dedicated volunteers. Be careful with the teeny humans as it is quite spooky!

This year was my first year going through the haunted Red Mill even though I lived in the area for 20 years. First of all I have to say the amount of energy and work and detail that went into creating this haunt was impressive! The scarers were professionals all the way through and they got me a few times! My wife and I have had a rough couple of months and we needed this. Besides being scared we were laughing so hard many times as we walked through. And we look forward to next year!

Very original haunt & reasonably priced. Great staff and very helpful & friendly. The characters stay in character and were all great. Very reasonably priced too. I had a blast!

The venue was even better this year which is amazing considering every year it’s awesome! We attended kids day as well and they had a blast!

The staff was incredible and the haunted house experience was CRAZY! There were 6 of us and they without a doubt got every single one of us on the verge of peeing our pants at LEAST 20 times each!! I highly recommend this place over anywhere else in NJ. By far the most scary experience I’ve ever gone through when it comes to a haunted house and scary things in general. Also, the quality of the whole experience was insane. Felt incredibly professional and the actors nailed their roles perfectly. The experience felt like it would never end and I didn't even want it to end even though me along with my whole group were scared every moment we were there! I can’t wait to see what they have in store for next year and the years to come! HIGHLY recommend.

nothings spookier then going through a haunted house through the historic red mill! from killer clowns, ufos, chainsaws, operating tables, scientific experiments and dead people..there isn't anything that you don't encounter at the red mill! and just when you think the journey is over, they load you on a haunted hay ride and drag you over to 2 more building of insanity! 4th year going and I even went when I was a little girl!
