What lies within the realm of Reaper’s Forest? Do you have what it takes to brave a haunted hayride, a dark forest, a pitch-black maze, and the zombie apocalypse? Venture into Reaper’s Revenge Haunted Attraction in Scranton, PA, a 60-acre haunt featuring four terrifying attractions and more than 90 minutes of scare time! Pennsylvania’s Reaper’s Revenge is a terrifying treat for locals, and close enough for a visit from New York or New Jersey. Voted America’s Best Haunted Attraction, Reaper’s Revenge is four haunts in one, combining a haunted hayride, dark forest walkthrough, pitch-black indoor walkthrough, and zombie maze. Test your fate at Reaper’s Revenge Haunted Attractions!

Begin your journey into 60 acres of dark trails and darker creatures by climbing aboard this tractor-pulled hay wagon. All may seem safe at first with your fellow passengers, but you’re in for the longest, scariest time of your life. As you venture deeper and deeper into the Realm of Reaper’s Forest, be ready for what waits for you in the darkness. Reaper’s own soul-searching creatures and bloodthirsty zombies are lurking at every twist and turn, finding delight in discovering your inner fears. Prepare yourself for the most horrifying ride of your life – it may be your last!

Make your way next to the Lost Carnival – a sideshow populated by the souls of freaks, clowns, and other oddities. But this is no fun day at the circus. The inhabitants of the Lost Carnival are deranged and demented, and they’re waiting for you… their audience for their encore performance. If you’re lucky, you may reach the Tunnel of Love to make your escape. But what will you find on the other side?

Built in 1862, Pitch Black Incorporated was once a thriving light bulb factory, employing a large percentage of the population of Lackawanna County. However, a horrific electrical accident in 1924 claimed the lives of most of the employees, including Abigale Black, the beloved wife of the founder. Shortly after, an emotional and financial bankrupt Mitch Black closed the factory doors for good. For nearly a century, the local residents have reported strange activities surrounding the factory. Stories have circulated that a few brave souls have even ventured inside the building, but were never seen or heard from again. Do you dare to discover the mysteries of the dark? You have been warned… Enter at your own risk.

The Eastern half of the United States has suffered a massive bio-nuclear attack. You are among the few survivors to escape the cannibalistic mutants and make it to Sector 13, the last remaining bridge to the relatively “normal” Western US. But Sector 13 was made to contain mutants – not provide a quick exit. New terrors await around each corner as you navigate to safety, and not all the inmates can be contained. Will you escape the maze, or find yourself at a dead end? Be careful where you go, because in this high-intensity maze of psychological scares, turning back may not be an option.

Felt like it was more of a basic obstacle course. The music was great but the haunted house was a disappointment. Lack of creativity. It's just people screaming in your ears. Annoying…

  • Not Bad

Great place, great scares. Set design, costumes, scares and actors were all top-notch. Actors stayed in character, and they had no qualms to go out of their way to give you a very interactive experience. Hayride had few good scare moments that startled me to the core. In the maze, you got no escape route other than facing the scares. Actors’ performance was impressive throughout. Costumes looked real. Great job everyone.

great price, incredible haunt. Loved the atmosphere and the excitement. Maze was an amazing experience. neatly planned and well executed with surprises at every corner and turn. It was fun with zombies. The actors made merry and we had a great time with them. I WILL be doing this years to come.

  • Pitch black freaky

Very freaking cool. The clown carnival and sector 13 had some intense jump scares that caught me by surprise. The darkness in Pitch black virtually freaked me out. There was no way to anticipate the scares until it strikes.Expensive but totally worth it.Good job guys.

  • Email Verified Cool surprises and fun

One of the best.Loved the scares. There were four attractions in all. Hayride was fun with cool surprises on the way. Zombie apocalypse was terrifying. Actors in cool makeup resembled zombies in all aspect….really awesome. Performed like a real zombie and that scared us the most. Cool costumes, some were dropped in blood. Great frights at the dark forest. It was quite impactful. It was like an hour and more in there, we had a blast.

  • Email Verified Highly entertaining

Well, what a day we had here!! Plenty to soak in your Halloween spirits. More than an hourr in the haunts and we never knew the time passed. Got completely occupied in the haunts. Hayride, zombies, maze and woods were a great combo. The hayride was entertaining….an action filled ride replete with spooky surprises. The forest was pitch dark…so exciting…. actors did the job really well. They scare us easily and make us screaaammmm. It is still funny to think how we ran to avoid a scare..lol. Can’t wait till next year to see what they have in store.

  • Email Verified Screamed non-stop

We opted for VIP passes to escape the line. The theatrical hayride had huge sets and highquality sound, not to mention the scare actors ever willing to scare the daylight out of you. An intense experience, and remains my favorite. Pitch black was scary too….screamed almost non-stop. Sector 13 was a sensory overload. Scares were interactive and the sets and costumes were phenomenal. The clown carnival was awesome; a lot of different scares in every direction. The haunt is worth every penny..

  • Great haunted attraction

Had a wonderful time. Too many things happening under one roof. Biggest and the longest I have ever attended. Spooky surprises in all corners. Each had its own unique theme. The actors were great…loved the job and it shows. Makeover was excellent. Cool props used extensively. The woods were the scariest...dark and eerie. I have never been so terrified in life. Scares and scenes were in plenty. Looking forward for the next spooky season.

  • Hauntingly realistic!!

Hauntingly realistic!! Hayride through the forest was fun. Some of the characters climbed up the wagon and scared the crap out of us. The lost carnival featured some unbelieveable scares and props. The creepy clowns freaked us out. Pitch black will be interesting if you have not done it yet. In the dark, you can’t anticipate the scares. Sector 13 had creepy interiors and psychological scares. Actors were interactive and they knew their job. Quite reasonably priced as well. Check it out.

OMG!! SCARY AS HELL!! Couldn't get out of the car. A completely different kind of haunt, not the same old predictable jump scares you’re used to, no.

  • Email Verified Pretty intense

This is not a friendly hayride-and-scarecrows type of place. The haunted hayride was fun and it had few intense scares. Few of the scares actually caught me by surprise. Pitch Black was pretty dark, creepy and uncomfortably loud. People with ear troubles should ideally avoid this part.

  • Bone-chilling scares and thrills

Best overall experience compared to other haunts I have been to this year. It had many bone-chilling scares, thrills, creepy sets and scare actors who knew how the scare the visitors. My wife’s favourite was the hayride. Pitch black freaked us out. The haunted hayride took us through some dark creepy terrains. My friend liked the Lost Carnival, which had creepy sets and zombies in scary attires who chased us around. The droning sound was a bit tough on the ears. We were amazed by some good interactive scares at sector 13. Actors stayed in the character throughout. Check it out.
