I was there many times from 1986 to present. i remember a bartender named Eddie? he was in his 50 or 60s neatly groomed with a bow tie. im pretty sure he passed away in the 90s. i was there in 2019 when i was entering the small bathroom and saw him, or someone who looked like him?. normally due to the size of the room you enter but if someone is in there you go out and wait. i waited for 5 or 10 minutes before i went back in and the room was empty. Havent been back since. im going there for a Dunellen High School Reunion 1983 in June 2023 im not using the bathroom!

My family and I were having dinner in the basement section of the hotel restaurant, called the Rathskeller. During dinner, my adult son, who is usually talkative, suddenly went silent and I noticed a serious look on his face. I asked if something was wrong. He said he felt three taps on his shoulder and he looked and no one was there. I asked our waitress if the hotel is haunted and she said yes, by a woman and her young daughter.
