In a field on Mountain Road in Martinsville there is a solitary oak tree filled with dead limbs that never sprout foliage. The tree is said to be cursed, and anyone who attempts to cut it down will not only fail but also come to an untimely end. It is said that a local farmer once went berserk, killing his entire family and then going to the Devil’s Tree to hang himself. Some also believe that the KKK, which was once active in Bernards Township, would lynch and hang victims from the tree.
The tree is allegedly warm to the touch regardless of season, and snow will supposedly never accumulate underneath it regardless of how much falls. Some say that the tree is a portal to hell, and if you get too close a black pickup truck will chase you away until you reach a certain point where the vehicle vanishes.

I have seen this tree many many times. And it is nothing but an ordinary tree. Ive been to many abandoned places and explorations but this is by far the most boring around. Please dont even waste ur time traveling. Defiently not worth it
