Went to Jenny Jump for a hike. Beautiful and uneventful. Just a nice place for a hike.

As a teenager my mom and her bf took me and my sisters down this road and we stayed at a motel right across the street from Ghost lake. I remember looking at the lake from the room door. But now when I ask my family about it they have no memory of staying at a hotel but they remember going down that road. And I can't find the motel we stayed at online. Am I crazy or was it most likely just a dream I had or has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Me and my daughter went to Shades of Death Road and found the Ghost Lake. We walked down the trail and found the cave across the lake, well we wanted to go see it so we went to the other side. As we were climbing up the side of the hill there we had to stop and take a breather, it was steep so as we were standing there we heard like it was pieces of wood banging together really really loud two to three different times like someone was literally banging it together off to the left of the trail were the lake is. There is nothing there but ledge rock and it wasn't tree limbs rubbing together. We were the only two people there at that time today

Stunning stretch of road during the day. Would love to see the fog at night.. Took tons of photos... Its eerie, I felt like we were being watched by someone but nothing paranormal happened....

I went there several times before finally witnessing something awkward.

My friend and I traveled along the road then back up again before finally going towards the tower nearby that some lady jumped from after witnessing her husband cheating on her. So I hear.

Well on our way up the winding road to the top of the hill a deep thick fog rolled in and came suddenly out of nowhere! We tried to keep going through it but it was just not happening since we couldn't see more than our hood.

We immediately turned back. I don't know if it's always foggy up there every night but when we left the fog would dissipate then if we tried to go back it would roll back in just as thick.

I live up that way....stop trying to scare people with u bullshit stories...it's a residential home filled road with NOTHING but stories...

Ive been to this road and ghost lake more times than I can count. It is a very scenic with the lake and small trail.
