Built in 1854, the NJ Bar and Grill in Mine Hill Township is said to have been the site of a murder. Allegedly a man was killed here by his mistress while he was playing pool. The owners themselves have reported witnessing wine bottles floating in midair before crashing to the ground, strange shadows and cases of the lights turning on and off. The restaurant was investigated on SyFy's series "Ghost Hunters" in 2010.

Nothing to see here

I worked at this bar when it was JOANN'S. I knew Joann, the wife of the man who was shot by his mistress. So that part of the story is true. I never had any paranormal experience here. Never saw anything. Never even gave a vibe. The only thing I can say is, once they built homes and developments around the corner the neighbors tried for years to run Joann out. Complained about music being loud, had her in court all the time for noise. Honestly this "story" about bottles floating has got to be just some gimmick to drum up business. Today there's even more housing developments surrounding this tiny bar with a couple apartments overhead. So even more grouchy neighbors and an even hungrier town council looking to help out a developer friend.
