Ive been to many haunts in my life and this one really nailed it! The haunts were creative, the sets were well thought out and super creepy, the makeup/costumes were excellent and not cheesy at all. The actors were fantastic and very committed. I had a great time, I definitely got scared, and each haunt felt like it lasted a good amount of time. I highly recommend and would return.

even with a group of over 11, overall an awesome experience. worth the VIP ticket and the hour and a half drive. actors were great. scenes were creepy. the carnival trail was the scariest for me!! i jumped plenty of times. blackened was my second favorite! i would def go again

Scary but not insane.....great actors, nice props. Blackened was an outdoor trail with creepy scenes, sets and scare actor’s hell bent on scaring the crap out of you. They’d scared us multiple times, and even at the exit. Actors’ performace was commendable. We jumped plenty of times!

Sooooooooo Amazing!!!!! Creepy interiors, props and interactive scares freaked me out. The scenes were well planned and executed. Twisted tales is built on a darker version of the fairy tales that we’d heard in our childhood. The characters became scarier and I liked all the scenes in it. Couple of the jump scares had my heart in my mouth.

Visited with my son and niece. The kids, even though got scared few times, enjoyed the carnival of chaos and twisted tales. They’d never imagined the fairy tale characters in such a scary avatar. They screamed in both places, still was laughing in the end. The walk in the woods was one of a kind experience. It was long, dark, and creepy, and featured intense scares and terror moments. Actors all had great costumes and were in character perfectly.

Awful

Awful service and policies. Absolutely no one from the general admission line was able to enter until the fast pass line was empty. The scares were ruined by the close groups in front of us.

Amazing set! Passionate actors

I visited scary rotten farms not knowing what to expect but knowing I loved Halloween so I was definitely looking forward to being spooked! The actors went above and beyond, performing by making odd angels with their bodies, screaming, calling my name and using their props to advance their scare. The maze is amazing there’s a haunt at every corner but with it being complicated to escape the fear factor rises and rises and it oozes out of my senses! Really terrifying, funny and entertaining! Absolutely worth going to! Great for all ages!!

Amazingly put together.A fantastic night spent here. Scares were galore, some of the best scenes were there and it was mind blowing. The actors were energetic. The transformation to the characters was awesome and the Props were used intelligently. It was so real. A great twist at the end of each haunt. There was great theme. Loved the suspense and thrill. The storyline was carried forward effortlessly. Most of the time we were screaming!

A fun and scary evening. It was a great presentation by the actors. I was here with my friends. We were late, but still it was quite active.The pandemic fear that gripped us was out of the world. It was like a carnival of all things scary. The special effects, fog and music added to the effect. The actors were still raring to go. They had a blast with the visitors. It was creative scenes that amazed us and got us screaming. The walkthroughs were filled with fear and we loved the horror. Superb!!!

Fantastic. Checked out the two of the attractions, leaving out twisted tales for another time. The carnival of chaos scared the daylight out of us. The attention to details in sets and costumes as well as the spooky scenes were incredible. In the plague, we were the last few people to go in. The trail in the woods was more intricate and twisting than I anticipated. It got even creepier as there were no much people, and the actors got enough time to scare the crap out of us. It was worth the drive and money.

Truly ghostly

All hell broke loose at the scary rotten farms. It was a scary threee terrifying attractions. Each was a walk through with different concepts. The blackened was scary, dark and interesting. Loved the plague concept. The scenes were planned and carried the concept forward. The twisted tales was like walking through a living hell. The dark and eerie walk through filled with horrific scenes and scares. You get to see the nightmares you never want to have. Chaos was like in a festival of the devils. You will finde quite a lot of twisted characters in the dark and it is like a carnival. Definitely will try this again.

Freaking Great! Exploring the dark woods was pretty creepy experience. The hidden scares startled me more than once. The quietness of the trail also exacerbated its scare factor. I will be going back again and again!

Awesome experience! Very scary. The trail had bone-chilling scares and terrifying moments in plenty. The scare actors in Twisted tales was very engaging and wholly in to the characters. It was short, but creepy and pretty intense.

Chaos and mayhem was what defines this place. It was totally out of order and people who love some good scary fun. The best way to spend a Halloween weekend. Took my family to the blackened plague. It was like a horror movie set. I saw the best of Spector’s in there and they knew how to make you scream and jump. It looked dangerously interactive but still had the safety net when you wanted to you could back out. It was fun at the carnivals. We loved it all and definitely recommend

Freaky awesome

We just got to the ticket booth minutes before it was closed. The Carnival of Chaos was freaky awesome. Great scares, props and scary set design with lots of details! The actors were interactive and they stayed in character throughout. My wife’s favourite was the second one – Twisted Tales. It was a haunt dedicated to all the fairy tales we grew up reading, but reinvented with a darker shade. We loved the scenes and character. Few of the jump scares got me off guard. Backend ‘The Plague’ was set up in dark woods. We were only a handful of people at that time, so it was extremely quiet, walking up to each scene. The actors scared the crap out of both of us. Certainly I would recommend this haunt.

WORTH IT

Last night a group of us went through the carnival and twisted tales. We.loved.every.second. I highly recommended going in first because you get scared the most. Every character had their own presences and unique laugh/voice. Snow White literally made me scream! Highly recommend going and get ready to be scared!

Hellish time!!

It was good show at the scary rotten farms. They have done a great job in terms of putting up such an awesome sets, scenes and haunts. We were here last night and we had a hellish of a time. Actors stuck to the character and it was like breathing life into the monsters and beasts. The plots were well laid with a tight storyline. They were all meant to scare us and it just worked out. We could see ourselves screaming and jumping. Carnival chaos had clowns in devilish avatars. It was quite out of the box thinking. Great job.

A lot of effort has gone into making each look the way it is. Animatronics was magnificent and it looked so good. We were startled by the sounds and was fun jumping and screaming. Will visit again.

I and BF visited the Scary Rotten Farms as part of my birthday celebrations. The set up was cool, and the scare factor was above par. Carnival of chaos has got good quality scares and props. The interactive scares were well planned and executed to perfection. Actors were dedicated and original. The twisted tales was an interesting concept. It was pretty scary too. It was great fun for both of us. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Unique themes and scares

It was terrifying to say the least at the farms late last evening. I was there with the entire family and we were a group of 20. There were a handful of first timers and they were pretty excited. There were three haunts, each with unique themes and scares. Twisted tales was quite an imaginary attempt on fairy tales gone all wrong. The set was incredible. A must visit if you like a good scare.

A must visit scare haunt

Scary Rotten Farms is clearly among the best haunts in NJ. The scares, props and scenes were state-of-the-art, and the scare actors were extremely engaged and professional in their conduct. Carnival of chaos had creepy sets and innovative scares perfectly placed to get you. This was also my favourite. The creepiness of being in the middle of the woods in the dark was one of a kind experience. In all the haunts, they made sure to stagger the groups so it was perfectly planned for all the scares. The awesome actor who introduces you to the haunt entrance need special mention. If anyone is looking for scare haunt, Scary Rotten Farms is a must visit. I will come again next year.

Wowww....Scary, creepy interactions

This one focuses and relies more on the artists than the artwork and hats off to them all, you would ultimately come out having encountered one of the scariest hour of your life. There were so many actors, but none of them were repetitive and all managed to be horrifically realistic, with perfect makeups, rich costumes, and creepy interactions. Scary, but that’s what you come for.

Surprises, scary surprises all over. You wouldn’t see most of them coming. Way more realistic and frightening than most other haunted attractions, thanks to the terrific set pieces, amazing special effects and the top-notch performances. You are sure to get your $$$ worth even before getting over with the first attraction.

Hardly got spooked once

Very true to their name as rotten. One of the worst haunted experiences I’ve ever had in the recent time. Queues were very long and they were pushing people inside the haunted house. I hardly got spooked once, as most of the scares were experienced by people in the front. Costumes and makeups were average and actors were not in full energy in displaying the act. Definitely not a place to go for Halloween.

Amazingly created and amazingly delivered. Everyone in our family, both big and small absolutely loved it and had a great time. The scary additions were really thrilling, we were running, screaming and laughing all along. Nothing seemed forced or over the top, it was just perfect. Highly recommended, especially when you got your little ones along.

I'm a Tom's River local and have never heard of this place before this year. I've seen their truck but had no idea it was in brick! So I went and checked it out earlier in October and absolutely loved it! The sets and props were spot on, the ghouls were spot on perfectly in character, costumes are amazing. Just everything about it is amazing! I highly recommend going to scary rotten farms in brick NJ . I loved it so much I went 3 more times and will be going tonight for blood night where you get blood thrown on you.

Amazing props, scare actors, and scenery.

Scary Rotten farms is an amazing place to get scared. The scare actors really give their all. They always give 110% energy. They are creative and can & do think outside the box! The props are delightfully frightful. They're realistic looking which is amazing for a psychological scare (which is my personal favorite.) The scenery is truly amazing with every room offering a new surprise just lurking around the shadows of mystery. I absolutely love Scary Rotten Farms & I suggest it to everyone who loves a good scare! Muahaha!!!

OMG...so Scary!!

Not a place for faint-hearted people. This place really tortures us and truly signifies the caution mentioned on the signboard placed at the entrance. All the actors have done a nice job and I loved their costumes and makeups. Very authentic set design for wooded trail at such a meager admission fee. Staff was very friendly too. We can’t wait to see what they brings up next year.

Real screaming night

We had a great time. Haunt is very scary and characters are convincing and entertaining. They've really created a badass haunted attraction to give a real screaming night for its people. Good job and very well maintained. There is so much to see and experience. Come out for a wonderful night out.

Two Attractions, One Location...

At least 30-40 minutes of continuous excitement and surprises! All horror themes are present: clowns, machetes, chainsaws, monsters, ghouls, a funhouse, blood, damsels in distress, claustrophobia tunnels, Gothic schoolgirls, hanging meat, blood, a maze of horror, vampires, a room of balls, and a zombie apocalypse. If you make it out alive, you'll never be the same again! The best horror attraction in the country...

My first time at Scary Rotten Farms and it was awesome! Costumes and scares were fantastic! I really love the carnival... I screamed at every scare that came at me and I even fell with one of them that was hiding in the corner....The woods brought me back to being a child scared of the dark woods! Can't wait till next year to do it again!

Will make you dead scared

Two different attractions, almost one hour of spine-chilling adventure, all at a reasonable price of around $30. The Carnival of Chaos deserves a special mention, would surely make you dead scared. One hell of an experience and certainly one of the best outdoor haunts ever.

Too Much Hype

The first attractions was pretty scary and I liked it because it was a long path and we had a group(16-22 yrs). We got there at 9:15 and they were still open since we had called ahead. The lady at the front was very nice and the scares were surprising. The only thing was that the forbidden forest was not really scary. The makeup wasn't scary, the actors were a little too friendly and it was short compared to the first scare. The second haunt needs some more work but other than that we had a great time.

SCREAM FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!!

Scarier than last year!!

This place sets the element of surprise around every turn! After going last year and vowing to come back, we were NOT disappointed! Some friends that were with me couldn't even finish going through the 2nd haunt. Definitely a must see!!! Price is fair also

Pleasantly Surprised

I still haven't been to a haunted house that REALLY scares me but I go just for the fun of it. So while this haunt didn't make me scream in horror, it was very good. They had enough people and props to make you feel like you got your money's worth. I would definitely go again next year.

amazing!!!!

I went with 5 of my friends. We were in a huddle the whole time screaming and jumping on top of each other. At one point of the carnival chaos we had thought we were in a dream and we have been ranting 2 hours after the event. It was perfect to do with friends and get a good scare before Halloween! We are now making it a tradition to go back every year. It was also affordable, 25 for 2 trails is a great price!

You must go

Went the other night to both attractions.... So awesome and worth it... Had a headache from screaming so much... I'm a 39 year old male who screamed so much that one of the performers was laughing and asked if I had "sharted" my pants. She then told my wife to not let me in the car like that. Awesome job... Btw, I live about 1/4 mile away and can hear the screams from my house when the windows are open.... Haha

Exceptional design and creep factors!

We went last night for both attractions and we all had a WONDERFUL time--ages 14-45. So much fun! Great job by all the creatures...everyone had their own cool weirdness and we REALLY got scared a few times, creeped out many times, and marveled at the artistry!  WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED!

Sinister at its best!!!

Man what a sinister creative genius!! The thought that went into this is nothing short of amazing. From the costumes to the make up to the actors to the maze design and woods was totally worth the money spent. Would definitely go back!! Great job everybody!

Screamed the whole time

The family and I chose this site and loved it from the parking lot. Loved the fact that there were options to do either or both. We chose the Carnival and it was great. If we had more time, we would have continued on with the Forbidden woods. Had a great time and would go back for the rest.

Scared da BEJEBUS outta me!

Scary yet terrifying! My girlfriend and I screamed at every turn.! Not to give anything away but there's some scary things down on the farm!! Both attractions are worth every penny. I know it'll only get better the closer to Halloween it gets! It's a good time! Bring the kids!

Scare out of my mind!!

We were at the haunt with a bunch of friends, line was long, but the wait was worth it, from the moment that we went in we couldn't stop screaming, and yes, I almost peed my pants, the characters are impressive, totally recommend it. I can't wait to go back!!

Holy scariness!!!

Babysitter... CheckDinner with husband & friends...checkScary Rotten Farms.... OMG!!!!!Wished I would have gone to the bathroom like my husband suggested before we went in. Literally peed my pants! This was so scary! Seemed like there was something scary around every turn and even in between!!! Holy cow!! Line was long and it was crowded but now I know WHY!!! This is a must go!!!

Worth the trip

I drove 30 minutes and was very impressed with the actors and effort put into this haunt. The lines were a little long but I think that says a lot for the haunt. I am not a hayride person so I much prefer this style of walking through. Took us longer than 10 minutes for each haunt... maybe in the other reviews they ran. I just love this kind of stuff. Definitely not kiddish... more for over 12 years old. I would rate it a 4 1/2. The woods were scary but more effort is placed on the first haunt. I say GO to SCARY ROTTEN FARMS!!!!

this was great.. don't miss out!

This is an incredibly well done haunt. Between the actors, the props, the set up, the scares, screams, music, and vibe I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. So worth the reasonable price, very easy to locate. Everyone did such a great job I will definitely be back next year!

I drove 45 min to this attraction and it was not worth it. The events were maybe 10 minutes long and not scary at all. This is good for teenagers i guess. Not too creative and definitely not worth the twenty-five dollars per person. A lot of time was spent waiting in line. So upsetting. Will not be returning.

Not impressed!

I went with a group of friends and we spent a lot of money for something that was not worth it at all. For both attractions it was 25$ per person. Considering each attraction lasted about 10 min I thought this price was unreasonable. We waited longer in line than the time we were actually inside. I don't think the layout was planned out well. The people who were suppose to scare you seemed repetitive and after 5 min I was actually bored. I've been to some amazing scare farms/ houses and sadly this one was very disappointing. Save your money and go somewhere worth it.

Scary but short

It was pretty good for the price. We went last night and drove 45 minutes to get here. The attractions themselves were done exceptionally and were very scary, and we go to many haunted houses. My only complaint is that it was pretty short; it only took us an hour to get through both and that includes waiting on line. The lines were about 20 minutes each. I do like how they spaced everyone out so your group was completely isolated. Overall come only if you live in the area, it's not worth a long drive.

was really impressed on the time they took to make this haunted adventure creepy.very professional and will go again probably next year.music was great.highly recommend this to anyone that will need a scare.if your constipated will scare the shit out of you.

Very Professional, Scary and fun. Young adult - adult

2 walkthroughs.. The wooded Millers Mill Camp.. it is Deliverance gone wrong. Great sets and actors very into their roles. Some good scares.The amusement park is killer clowns on the loose! The actors are so high energy and jumping out of everywhere. This takes the fear of clowns to a whole new level. Awesome sets with loud music. The insane asylum was my favorite. I got scared 2times! Awesome fun time! Suitable for young adults and older. Very professional and well done.

Rockin place to go

The Brick Scary Rotten farms ROCK!! All Metal music soundtrack played great music great effects and freat characters.A must see for those looking for a loud fun scare!!

Wanted to go last night but read on facebook you were closed.

My kids had fun last year! Scary Rotten Farms is close to our home in Brick and my 10 and 12 year olds just love it. In fact we wish they offered season passes because they seem to want to go every weekend. I love most that it is not too expensive and there is hardly ever a line so wait times are minimal. Thanks for great family fun!!

Watching my fiance have a meltdown priceless,but then karma..

The two 45 min walk through attractions were unforgettable,and worth every penny. I love Hallowee,so I expected to enjoy the action/props only because I don't scare easily,but Scary Rotten Farms changed that! My fiance...well,he had a meltdown once we arrived. His tough guy exterior vaporized just looking at the entrance to Sinister Sneeds Carnaval because he hates clown! He took off at first,but went through bugging out which was priceless!Karma played a role going through The Asylum was intense! Hands down you feel as though you'll never make it out! It had me freaking out wondering when it will end! Once a littlerelief came it didn't last very long! There was another part where a girl was screaming for help because she was being dragged away, and we all said she looked just like the young girl that went ahead of us,which made it so real I froze I started to run back! There was so much more,that had us freaking out,so well done Scary Rotten Farms we'll be back!

Brick is now the best place to go to get ready for Halloween!!

Taking a bunch of 16 year old teens to go see Scary Rotten Farms was an experience in itself. And then to hear them talking non stop about how scared they were and all the "terrible" things that jumped out screamed at them and "it seemed so real" never did I think this Mom is now being asked if they could go again this weekend!!! Heard it was the big hit in the local high schools and "all the kids at school are talking about it" Guess I will be the parent to do the repeat this weekend.

A must go!

In all honesty, this is one of the BEST and SCARIEST haunted walk throughs I have ever been to! The actors NEVER broke out of character and the staging was awesome! I HIGHLY recommend anyone to go, especially if you are looking for an adrenaline kick from being scared! Also I love the fact a portion of the proceeds goes toward Oceans of Love. That makes it even better!

Scary rotten farms was definitely the best halloween attraction i have been to in nj. Two scary trails! Lots of fog and loud music! tried my hardest not to pee my pants.

Bootiful

Well done, two haunted attractions. Takes a while to walk through them and the haunted trail is really authentic because you're literally walking through pitch black woods.
