Camp Pahaquarry was in operation from 1925 to 1971. When people hear of this camp, they think of Hatchet Annie, the ghost who is known to linger the location in spirit. Stories say the girl was attacked by Indians in colonial America and a hatchet that was aimed at her heart ended up in her shoulder. A different story says she was a hermit that lived deep in the woods, attacking any trespassers with her ax. Then there's the ghost of Buck, a bloodthirsty man who enjoyed carving up Scouts at the camp.
