We change the story, increase the length and the scares, every season!

What are you most excited about for the 2026 Halloween Season?

The new scenes and other additions to our story and trail!

What differentiates The Conover Killings from other local haunts in New Jersey?

-There are no LINES
-You hangout by the fire with our farm dog until your groups turn
-Every SINGLE group is gapped by 3 - 4 minutes - ensuring each group is FULLY alone while walking the trail.
-YOU are truly put into the story.

How long has The Conover Killings been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about The Conover Killings's history?

This is year 5! What started as an "origin story" home haunt - grew into a sequel, moving to a farm around the corner based on "True events" of a local serial killer..that was never caught.

What's your favorite experience since opening The Conover Killings?

Scaring people - it never gets old. There is nothing better than a group of friends being scared / laughing together after it's all said and done.

How long is a typical haunt experience at The Conover Killings from start to finish?

We consider your "Experience" to start the second you pull into our long, dark, gravel driveway. So it ranges from 45 minutes to an hour! The TRAIL itself, is about 30 minutes long.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say The Conover Killings is? Why?

11...because you are FULLY alone out there. Every single one of our "victims" focus is solely on each group that goes though. No conveyor belts of people getting "scared".

Does The Conover Killings's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

We cannot disclose that information at this time.

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

I LOVE haunted attractions - I always have. Just like I love halloween and I love horror movies. When the idea came to life and we knew we had something different and has not been done before, we knew we had something special.

Can The Conover Killings accommodate large groups? How many people can experience The Conover Killings together as a group?

As many as they want - however for the BEST experience we encourage every group to split up if they have more than 6 people.

Does The Conover Killings offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

We do not - we already have a limited capacity per night since we offer a very unique experience - we turn away 100s of people a night since we are reservations only!
